    About Us

    Aldama Elementary School is located in he Highland Park area of Northeast Los Angeles. Aldama Elem. is a public school that serves approximately 500 students in grades K-5 as well as an Extended Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) class.  

    Aldama established its Dual Language Program in 2008 and nearly half of the students are enrolled in this program.  Aldama's Dual Language Program attracts students and families from neighboring schools as well as local students.  

    Aldama partners with the Garden School Foundation (GSF) to promote healthy eating habits and Education Through Music Los Angeles (ETMLA) to promote music education.

    Aldama is a school that C.A.R.E.S.!  The school's vision statement is: Community, Academics, Respect, Environment, Success!
