About Us
Aldama Elementary School is located in the Highland Park area of Northeast Los Angeles. We are a public school that serves approximately 500 students in grades K-5, as well as an Extended Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) class.
Aldama established its Dual Language Program in 2008. Nearly half of the students are enrolled in this program. Aldama's Dual Language Program attracts students and families from neighboring schools, as well as local students.
We partner with Enrich LA to engage students in the school garden, and Education Through Music Los Angeles (ETMLA) to promote music education.
Aldama is a school that C.A.R.E.S.! The school's vision statement is: Community, Academics, Respect, Environment, Success!
